The Peruvian Inca Orchid (PIO) is a sighthound from Peru. Both coated and hairless puppies can be born in the same litter. This rare breed is registered in the USA in the AKC Foundation Stock Service (FSS) and can show in AKC performance events: Agility, Obedience, Rally and Tracking. For conformation, PIO can gain championships in UKC, IABCA and ARBA. PIO dogs are a medium size sighthound, similar to a Whippet in both size and temperament. They are a clean, loving and gentle breed that is easy to live with and who enjoys the company of their owners and other pets.
